Several years ago, our market began to appreciate on a steady incline.  Many of our Teachers, Firefighters, Government Employees and just all of us regular people found it difficult to afford housing in the Lee and Collier County areas of Florida. 

Due to the dramatic changes in our market, those houses that sold for much, much higher prices a few years ago, are now back on the market for prices that are affordable to the normal buyer.  Couple that with the information provided by the area property appraiser's office indicating that the real estate taxes will be reduced according to an average of the sales price, etc. in each particular area.....  it is now an affordable time to purchase a home.

In no way do I want to take away from the devastation endured by the folks who got into a bind due to either loss of employment, changes in their financial situation or adjustable rate increases who either lost their home due to foresclosure or short sale; however, it is important to share with everyone that if you choose to buy now, the prices are affordable. 

No one has the "crystal ball" ability to know just when the bottom has been reached.  So you have to decide for yourself if you can now afford to buy, if the payment works for you and if you have found just the right house! If so, contact one of our staff and find out just how easy it may be for you to purchase.  Their are still options out there for people who have decent credit and little to no money to put down on the home.
